ANFIA – Formula SAE Italy

Where Students’ Passion designs the future of Mobility

Discover engineering, research, and creativity in the automotive sector

ANFIA – National Association of the Automotive Industry Supply Chain – represents the entire Italian automotive sector and promotes initiatives focused on innovation and education.
Among these, Formula SAE Italy is an annual educational event organized by ANFIA, involving engineering students in the design and development of single-seater competition vehicles.

The teams build combustion, electric, and driverless prototypes, conceived for potential commercialization and developed according to specific technical regulations. On the occasion of MECSPE, ANFIA highlights the connection between academia and industry by showcasing the technologies and machines used in the development of the prototypes.

Participating teams include the Universities of Bologna, Ferrara, Florence and Pisa.
