Associazione Italiana Finiture dei Metalli (AIFM) was founded on 8 April 1988, as a separate branch and then as a continuation of Associazione Italiana di Galvanotecnica (AIG) by professor Eugenio Bertorelle,former president of the AIG.
AIFM is open to all operators in the galvanic sector and aims to provide the widest possible associative service to the Galvanic and Metal Surface Treatment Industry; the Association is qualified for its commitment to the dissemination of scientific and technical culture, with its own magazine
“Galvanotecnica e nuove finiture” and by organizing conferences, seminars and training courses for galvanic operators.
