In the industrial cybersecurity and IT-OT services sector, what are the main trends that are emerging and that will have a significant impact in the coming years?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The main trends in industrial IT-OT cybersecurity are closely linked to the growing exposure of connected production environments and the resulting need for\u00a0structured risk governance<\/strong>. Regulatory pressures are playing an increasingly decisive role:\u00a0NIS2<\/strong>,\u00a0the new Machinery Regulation<\/strong>, and\u00a0the Cyber Resilience Act<\/strong>\u00a0are significantly raising security requirements throughout the entire lifecycle of industrial systems.
At the same time, the shift toward\u00a0continuous OT asset monitoring<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0security-by-design<\/strong>\u00a0integrated into engineering processes is gaining momentum. The rapid expansion of\u00a0IIoT<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0edge computing<\/strong>\u00a0is broadening the attack surface, making security-by-design an imperative. Adoption of specialized\u00a0SOCs<\/strong>\u00a0is also increasing, alongside the integration of AI-driven solutions for\u00a0proactive threat detection<\/strong>.\u00a0Supply chain security<\/strong>\u00a0is emerging as a critical factor in ensuring operational continuity”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With what level of confidence do you look at the evolution of the market in the two-year period 2026-2027?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We look at the 2026\u20132027 period with a high level of confidence while remaining aware of the growing complexity of the market environment. The market is being driven by\u00a0increasingly impactful regulatory requirements<\/strong>\u2014first and foremost\u00a0NIS2<\/strong>\u2014as well as accelerating investments in\u00a0industrial digitalization<\/strong>\u00a0and greater board-level awareness of\u00a0cyber risk as a business risk<\/strong>.
Demand for\u00a0MSSP services<\/strong>\u00a0and for monitoring and protection capabilities within OT environments is expected to grow steadily and structurally. However, challenges remain regarding\u00a0the availability of specialized skills<\/strong>\u00a0and the organizational maturity required for manufacturing companies to transform regulatory obligations into\u00a0continuous and measurable cybersecurity programs<\/strong>“.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why did your company decide to participate in MECSPE 2026?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We chose MECSPE because it represents one of the\u00a0leading ecosystems for advanced manufacturing<\/strong>\u00a0in Italy, which is a strategic market for us. The exhibition provides a valuable opportunity to engage directly with\u00a0IT<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0OT decision-makers<\/strong>, as well as senior professionals involved in industrial automation and digital transformation initiatives.. Furthermore, the event offers an ideal setting to strengthen our positioning around\u00a0OT cybersecurity<\/strong>, a topic that has become increasingly central. It helps shift the perception of cybersecurity\u00a0from a purely technical function to a strategic enabler<\/strong>\u00a0of operational continuity, resilience, and industrial competitiveness”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the objectives of your presence at the fair, what were the main priorities?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our priority was to clearly demonstrate\u00a0the real impact of cyber risk on production environments<\/strong>. Through\u00a0live simulations<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0practical demonstrations<\/strong>, we moved the discussion from theory to real-world operations, showing the\u00a0direct consequences that a cyberattack can have on production continuity<\/strong>. Our goal was to raise awareness among decision-makers and encourage the adoption of\u00a0structured OT cybersecurity strategies<\/strong>\u00a0as a core strategic component”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering the contacts generated and the opportunities developed, how would you evaluate the return on investment of your participation in MECSPE 2026? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“MECSPE 2026<\/strong> ensured a qualified oversight of the market<\/strong> and the activation of discussions with decision makers and stakeholders<\/strong> consistent with our positioning, including potential technological partners and system integrators. The priorities were to strengthen the positioning as an MSSPspecialized in the IT-OT field<\/strong>, generate qualified commercial opportunities<\/strong> and consolidate strategic ecosystem relationships<\/strong>. The value of the initiative will be manifested in the coming months through the maturation of the pipeline and the conversion of opportunities into structured industrial cybersecurity projects and managed services, with an impact also on strengthening authority in the OT market”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
